The Medical Assistant program prepares students to perform duties under the direction of a physician/practitioner. Daily tasks may consist of preparing examination rooms, taking vital signs, performing venipuncture and various laboratory tests. Medical Assistants also learn to function in an administrative capacity.

Available at our Houma, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Alexandria, Metairie and West Monroe Campuses.
