Why an EKG/Phlebotomy certification?

As an EKG/Phlebotomy Technician will learn how to draw and monitor blood from patients for donations and testing. Other important skill areas include those of an Electrocardiograph Technician (EKG), which is the anatomy of the heart and the interpretation of a Rhythm Strip. Also, when evaluating EKG tracings, is given on the various rhythms and dysrhythmias. Once equipped with the necessary knowledge, an EKG Technician and Phlebotomy Technician Certification Exam can be taken.

What is hybrid?
Our hybrid model allows students to work from home as well as at school in a face-to-face setting. Approximately 60% of your work will be done on campus and 40% will be completed at home through our e-learning software. This new format has given many students the flexibility they need for success.
