Amanda Sao has overcome many obstacles while enrolled at Unitech Training Academy. English is not Sao's primary language and translation upon entering a higher education institution was tough at first. In her culture, it is not customary for a woman to become educated but to Amanda, it is important. She helps her husband run their family business during the day and attends school in the evening. Mrs. Sao has a 3.88 GPS and perfect attendance since July 2012. Amanda always has a smile on her face and continues to do well with her studies at Unitech.

Congratulations to the January EOM, Jessica Middleton, PTT Instructor, Alexandria Campus. Mrs. Middleton has a near perfect attendance rate for the month of January, paying close attention to the status of all students enrolled in her program. Jessica has single-handedly revived UTA-Alexandria's UHOPE Student Outreach Program, donating funds to the Manna House via the "Kiss a Pig" campaign in January. Middleton also volunteered to assist with NTHS duties and responsibilities. Students from all programs come to speak to her before and after class. She doesn't bring problems to her manager; she offers solutions.

Unitech Information

Evening Classes are always a great option for those who lead a busy lifestyle. Attending night class is a flexible way to earn an education while working during the day. Massage Therapy, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician Preparedness, EKG/Phlebotomy Technician, and Dental Assisting are just a few of the programs offered at night. Classes start every Monday.
